The paint code can be found on a tag rivetted to the left-hand door on 64-69 Mustangs.
For 1970-73 Mustangs, the information is found on a plastic label on the left-hand door.
The Ditzler paint numbers are provided along with RM (Renished-Mason) paint code numbers for Shelby colours.
The paint shop can cross-reference these numbers with other major paint namufacturers.
The original finish on 1964 - 73 Mustangs was acrylic enamel.
